Worked example
With Concrete volume = 10, Member type = Column (~2.5%), Steel % of volume = 2.5:

- In tonnes: 1.96 t
- Concrete volume: 10 m³
- At 12 mm bars, 12 m each: 184 bars
Rule-of-thumb only: steel % of concrete volume × 7,850 kg/m³. Actual reinforcement comes from structural design - consult a qualified engineer.
