Worked example
With built-up area = 1000 sq ft, turnkey rate = ₹1,800 per sq ft (editable sample rate), materials share = 60%:

The materials/labour split uses the share you set above (default 60% materials, 40% labour) - a planning assumption, not measured market data. Adjust it to quotes from local contractors. Turnkey rate per sq ft is editable - enter a rate quoted by local contractors for your quality tier. Indicative only; consult a qualified engineer/contractor before building.
