Worked example
With Super built-up area = 1000, Area unit = Sq Feet, Loading factor = 25, Carpet as % of built-up = 85:
CARPET AREA (APPROX.)680 sq ft
- Super built-up area: 1,000 sq ft
- Built-up area (after 25% loading): 800 sq ft
- Carpet area (85% of built-up): 680 sq ft
Common industry convention: built-up = super built-up ÷ (1 + loading), carpet ≈ 70-90% of built-up. RERA carpet area definitions differ - check your agreement.
