Common questions

Is the Word file editable?

Yes - you get a real .docx with the PDF's text in reading order, with page breaks kept. Fonts, images, columns and exact positioning are not preserved.

What about scanned PDFs?

Scanned PDFs are images without a text layer, so there is nothing to extract. Use the Image Text Extractor (OCR) tool first for those.

Does my PDF upload anywhere?
