Common questions

How do I add GST to a price (exclusive)?

Multiply the price by (1 + rate/100). Rs 1,000 + 18% GST = Rs 1,180.

How do I find the GST inside a GST-inclusive price?

GST = price x rate / (100 + rate). In Rs 1,180 at 18%, the GST part is Rs 180 and the base price is Rs 1,000. Choose the inclusive mode in the form above.

Which GST rates can I use?

Any rate - the field is editable. Common Indian slabs are 5%, 12%, 18% and 28%.
